An American entrepreneur, executive, and philanthropist, Mr. Barnes was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1974, into a military family. His early years were spent moving between U.S. Air Force bases worldwide, eventually settling at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. A standout student, he graduated at the top of his class, earning titles such as class marshal, valedictorian, and "most likely to succeed." Mr. Barnes attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on a full Air Force ROTC scholarship, where he earned dual degrees in Aeronautics & Astronautics and Science, Technology, and Society. His fascination with computer simulations' impact on public policy and business strategy took shape while studying system dynamics at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He graduated with highest honors in 1996. After completing flight officer training at Lackland Air Force Base, Mr. Barnes began his career as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force Reserve while simultaneously entering the consulting industry. His focus on leveraging computer simulations for strategic decision-making became a foundation for his future ventures. In 2022, combining his love for technology, business, and simulations, Mr. Barnes co-founded Hexatradefx. A Texas native, David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech. Before his role at Hexatradefx, David held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology at a prominent FinTech company, where he led the development of advanced payment solutions and blockchain infrastructure. Tracy Holmes is a 30-year veteran of the Technology industry and an expert in B2B marketing. She was named Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Hexatradefx in June 2023. Tracy is known for building powerful Go-to-Market strategies – from product launch through demand generation, field enablement, and customer advocacy – increasing brand awareness, accolades, and revenue for companies across industries and growth stages. She has held additional executive leadership roles at a variety of public and private global companies, including Quest Software, and CA Technologies. She has also provided strategic GTM guidance and Fractional CMO support to a wide range of B2B companies through her consulting practice. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Computer Studies from Claremont McKenna College.
